Vusta Installation Guidelines
Preparation
- Vusta Flooring should be fitted to a cement based screed or plywood
substrate. A chipboard substrate is not recommended
- The subfloor must be clean, even and free from imperfections. Any
surface contaminants (i.e. lacquer, paint etc.) must be completely
removed prior to installation and visible cracks must be repaired
- A cementitious substrate must have a RH (Relative Humidity) reading
of 70% or less before fitting can begin. If underfloor heating is being
used, all systems must be commissioned and operating for 7-14 days
before fitting can commence
- 24 hours prior to fitting, it is imperative that the temperature within the
installation area is kept constant and the flooring is on site to allow for
acclimatisation
